ECMC Network Lead Role
We are looking to appoint an ECMC Network Lead to lead the network and act as a key figurehead. The ECMC network is seeking to deliver on its vision to be an internationally competitive, national network of early phase experimental cancer medicine centres, which translates the most promising innovations from academic and industry sectors into the medicines of tomorrow. The network is in an exciting phase as it enters a new funding period and seeks to deliver its network level strategy. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the network is the global place of choice to deliver early phase cancer trials.
Either a non-clinical or clinician scientist, you must have the ability to provide institutionally agnostic UK-wide leadership and inspire and influence across the translational and clinical resarch communities.It is envisaged that the successful applicant will dedicate approximately 0.5 day/week to the network over the quinquennium (2023-28). This is a senior appointment by Cancer Research UK and a competitive ~0.1 FTE package will be offered which would be awarded as a grant to your host insititution to buy out that time. The successful candidate will be provided with advice and support from the ECMC Programme Office and the funding partners.
